The Origin of Our Inspiration
The Movement for Dialogue and Non-Violence (MODAN) is a nonprofit that equips people to use dialogue, nonviolence and self-reliance to create a sustainable and just world for all. The policy of MODAN is to promote understanding and awareness of self-reliance and non-violence as culture and a method of wealth creation and civic virtue in managing diversity – hence creating harmonious co-existence among people especially the youth and women in society. This calls for commitment to Self-Reliance and Nonviolence as a way of life and witness to the values that enhance human dignity in society.
